The New York Yankees have had dominating teams in their storied history, but probably no more dominating of a team than the 1998 team. Setting a then-record going 114-48, the Bronx Bombers steam rolled through the American League and won the World Series by sweeping the San Diego Padres. All told the Yankees won 125 games (including post season).
Offered here is a multi-signed celebration photograph when they put the finishing touches on the four-game sweep of the San Diego Padres. This 20 x 24 inch color photograph has been signed by members of that historic Yankee team in bold silver marker. Signatures include Hall of Famer and Manager Joe Torre, Derek Jeter, Bernie Williams, Tino Martinez, Jorge Posada, Paul O’Neill, Andy Pettitte, Mariano Rivera, David Wells, Orlando Hernandez, and several others. This photograph has been matted and framed to a dimension of 26 x 28 inches and has a 2 x 6 ½ inch silver plate that reads “1998 WORLD CAMPIONS NEW YORK YANKEES LIMITED EDITION 48/75”.
