After spending his first nine years with the Atlanta Braves, catcher Brian McCann signed with the New York Yankees before the start of the 2014 season. After a slow start in the Bronx, McCann would go on to have a solid season, finishing with 23 home runs, 75 RBI and a .232 batting average in 140 games.
McCann wore this button-down size 48 New York Yankees home white pinstripe jersey during the June 5, 2014 game against the Oakland A’s at Yankee Stadium. McCann’s only plate appearance came in the ninth inning as a pinch-hitter when he singled off of Oakland reliever Dan Otero. The A’s eventually defeated the Yankees 5-2 in 10 innings. This jersey displays moderate use with some minor staining on the collar. The pinstriped jersey has the traditional interlocking “NY” sewn on in navy blue on the front and McCann’s number “34” sewn on in back. McCann signed his name on the “4” of his “34” in silver marker and inscribed “Game Used”. The Majestic tag is screen printed on the bottom front left tail, along with a New York Yankees bar code (0000004116). This jersey comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ 114294), a LOA from Steiner Sports and a COA from PSA/DNA (Y59773).
