For Bret Boone, his 2003 season was one of the best of his career. The second baseman finished the season with a .294 batting average with 35 home runs and a 117 RBI as he made his third and final All-Star Game appearance.
Boone wore this button-down size 46 Russell Athletic Seattle Mariners home white jersey during the 2003 All-Star Game at US Cellular Field in Chicago. Boone went 0-2 in the game as the American League defeated the National League 7-6. This jersey features “MARINERS” across the chest in navy blue, teal and gray tackle twill. The Russell Athletic tag, along with the “2003” tag and size 46 flap are sewn on the bottom front left tail. The jersey has navy blue piping that runs along the collar and down both sides of the buttons. “BOONE” is sewn on in navy blue and teal on a matching white name plate and his number “29” is sewn on below in navy blue and teal. The left sleeve has the Mariners logo patch while the right sleeve has the “2003 All-Star Game” patch, which was only worn during the All-Star game. The jersey shows moderate game use with some minor stains on the front and Boone signed his name in black marker on the back of the jersey between his name and number. This jersey comes with a full LOA from Bret Boone, who verifies his signature and that he wore this jersey in 2003.
