Former Major Leaguer Bret Boone had a solid season in 2002 with the Seattle Mariners. Boone finished the 2002 campaign with a .278 average, 24 home runs, 107 RBI and won the Gold Glove Award. Boone wore this Russell Athletic Mariners road gray jersey during the 2002 season.
This size 46 button-down jersey features “SEATTLE” sewn on across the chest in blue, teal and white tackle twill. Navy blue piping runs around the collar and down each side of the buttons and the Russell Athletic tag and year tag “2002” are sewn on the bottom front left tail. The back of the jersey has “BOONE” sewn on in navy blue and teal on a matching gray name plate, along with his number “29” in the same color pattern. The MLB logo patch is sewn on the base of the neck in Mariners’ colors above the piping with the left sleeve having the Mariners’ logo patch sewn on and the club’s “25th Anniversary” patch sewn on the right sleeve. Boone signed his name in blue marker above his number on the back of the jersey. This game used and signed jersey comes with a full LOA from Bret Boone attesting to the jersey’s game use and his signature.
