Despite his advanced baseball age of 46, former pitcher Jamie Moyer was still a key contributor to the Philadelphia Phillies teams that won the World Series in 2008 and National League Pennant in 2009. Moyer’s 2009 season saw the lefty finish the season with a 12-10 record with a 4.94 ERA, all while pitching his home games at the hitter-friendly Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
This size 46 Majestic Cool Base button-down home white with red pinstripes Philadelphia Phillies jersey was worn by Moyer during the 2009 season. “Phillies” is sewn on in red smooth chenille on white tackle twill backing on the front of the jersey. The Majestic size 46 tag is screen-printed on the bottom front left tail. The back of the jersey has “MOYER” and his number “50” Sewn on in red and white tackle twill. The left sleeve has his number “50” sewn on in red and white tackle twill above the Majestic logo, which is embroidered in red. The left sleeve has the “Phillies WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS 2008” logo patch. Moyer has also signed his name in black marker on the back of the jersey on the top of the “5” of his “50” and inscribed “Boone – My Favorite Second Baseman! All My Best!” on the jersey to the left of his name. The jersey was inscribed to former second baseman Bret Boone, whose LOA is included with the jersey, along with a COA from PSA/DNA (AB98591) for his signature and inscriptions and a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
