In just his second full season in the big leagues, Curtis Granderson joined one of the most exclusive, and somewhat unknown, clubs in baseball history. It was during the 2007 season, as a member of the Detroit Tigers, that Granderson gained admittance into the 20/20/20/20 club, collecting twenty doubles, triples, home runs and stolen bases in the same season. He became just the fourth player to achieve this feat, joining Frank Schulte, Willie Mays and Jimmy Rollins, who also reached the milestone in 2007. Offered here is a pair of Granderson’s game used batting gloves from that very season, custom made white and blue TPX gloves with “Granderson” embroidered on the inside wrist. The gloves exhibit obvious game use, and have both been signed and inscribed in blue marker on the palm to read “Curtis Granderson twenty-eight Game Used 2007 20/20/20/20.” Each glove has been tagged with an MLB Authentication hologram (BB656236, BB656237).
