Former Major League manager Felipe Alou was a guiding force behind the upstart teams of the early 1990s Montreal Expos. In 1993, the Expos finished with a 94-68 record, only three games behind the eventual National League Champion Philadelphia Phillies. If not for the strike-shortened 1994 season, it's quite possible Alou's Expos could have played for a World Series.

Alou wore this button-down size 48 Russell Athletic home white and blue pinstriped jersey during the 1993 season. “Expos” with a paraph is scripted across the chest in royal blue and red tackle twill. Alou’s number “17” is sewn on the left center chest and the Russell Athletic and year tags (1993) are sewn on the bottom front left tail. The back of the jersey has “ALOU” and his “17” sewn directly to the jersey in the same blue on red tackle twill. The left sleeve has a special “25th Anniversary” patch and “48” is handwritten in black marker on the inside neck. This jersey comes with a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
