1987 was all Vince Coleman. In June of that year he swiped his 500^th career stolen base, and did it in less games than any other player up to that point. He stole second and third base in the same inning 13 times that summer and it was this spark and drive that propelled the Cardinals to the World Series that fall. Coleman’s Louisville Slugger bat shows good game use with some chipping to the black finish, cleat impressions and abrasions. The barrel carries the special “1987 WORLD SERIES” stamping and Coleman has signed in silver pen, adding “1987 WS”. The bat comes from Coleman’s own collection and his signed LOA is included.
