Before the 500-foot home runs, and the three MVP awards, and before the seven World Series Championships and 536 career home runs, which all led to his eventual Hall of Fame induction in 1974, Mickey Mantle was a rookie. Just like every kid who ever played the game, this 14”X18” photo of Mick captures the boyish Mantle in 1951, leaning on his bat at the top of the Yankee dugout. Mantle has signed the photo in bold blue Sharpie across his bent knee and hip. The image has been matted above a plaque with the inscription “Mickey Mantle New York Yankees Rookie Year 1951 Hall of Fame 1974 – 3 Time MVP 1956 Triple Crown Winner Avg. .352 130 RBI 52 HR’s 1956 & 1962 Player of the Year.” This framed, signed photo comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA.
