Offered is a two-page handwritten note by circus magnate P.T. Barnum. These 5 x 8 inch pages have his writing in black ink on one page. The second page is blank, but does show faded ink, possible pressed against one of the pages that was written. The double-sided written paper has “CALT HOUSE LOUISVILLE” raised in the upper left corner and was dated “Feb 3rd 1870”. Barnum signed his name on the back of the first page in the middle right portion. Both pages display toning and ink bleeding, but Barnum’s signature is clear. There are also fold creases and slight wear on the edges. A PSA/DNA (B29640) STICKER ONLY is affixed to the bottom of the second blank page.
