Considered one of the best baseball movies, “Major League” debuted in 1989 and starred a young Charlie Sheen, who played Ricky “Wild Thing” Vaughn. This late 1980s style Cleveland Indians jersey matches the one worn by Sheen during the film, although this jersey was NOT worn by Sheen. This button-down white jersey has “INDIANS” across the chest in blue on red tackle twill, with the number “99” sewn on in red on the center left front. Red, white and navy blue stripes run vertical down each sleeve with the “Chief Wahoo” patch sewn on the left sleeve centered on the stripes. “WILD THING” and “99” are sewn on in back in the same navy blue on red tackle twill pattern. Sheen signed in his name in silver marker on the left “9” of the “99” on the back of the jersey. There is some residue on the signature that has slightly smeared the “Charlie” of his signature. This signed jersey comes with a COA from PSA/DNA (4A11249).
