One of the most important books ever written, Harriet Beecher Stowe’s 1852 novel “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” has often been cited as instrumental in laying the groundwork for the Civil War.  True or not, the impact of the novel cannot be denied.  Offered is a set of 1st Edition copies of “Uncle Tom’s Cabin”, volumes I and II.  After 150+ years, the books exhibit significant wear on the covers, spines and edges, and each book contains some handwriting on the inside front page.  This is an extremely rare opportunity for bibliophiles to own an important piece of history.  On-site viewing is strongly recommended.
