Just 3-years after exorcising the 86-year-old “Curse of the Bambino” ....the Boston Red Sox, having the best record in baseball, would win the World Series again in 2007, led by World Series MVP - Mike Lowell, Josh Beckett, Jason Varitek, Kevin Youklis, “Rookie-of-the-Year” - Dustin Pedroia, Manny Ramirez, Jacoby Ellsbury, Jon Lester, Curt Schilling and David Ortiz! Boston edged their nemesis, the N.Y. Yankees by 2-games to win the AL East Division title, and would make quick work of the Anaheim Angels, sweeping them 3-games-0, in the ALDS. Next-up would be the Indians, and even though Boston outscored Cleveland, 51-runs to their 32, the Red Sox would have to overcome a 3-1 deficit, defeating the Indians in a hard-fought 7-game ALCS. Boston would go-on and dominate the World Series, outscoring the upstart Colorado Rockies, 29-10, sweeping them, 4-games-to-0, in the Fall Classic!

This stunning, JOSTENS 14K-White-Gold ring is the same size as what the player’s received, with an amazing 2.33-carats of Diamonds, and weighing over 65-Grams!! Approximately a Size-10 to 10.5, this massive ring rates near mint to mint condition, and was presented to legendary Red Sox scout, Felix Maldonado. Maldonado (1938-2010) spent nearly a half-century with Boston as a minor-league player, scout, coach, manager, Latin American coordinator and player development consultant. Inducted into the "Puerto Rico Baseball Hall-of-Fame" in 2009, Felix played alongside Orlando Cepeda and Tony Perez in the Puerto Rican Winter League's, and with Reggie Smith and Tony Conigliaro in the Sox farm system. He was held in such high esteem, that, like fellow icons (Johnny Pesky, Eddie Popowski and Charlie Wagner), Maldonado received the honor of having a spring-training facility named after him! His extravagant, genuine diamond-and-ruby-studded ring is engraved inside the band, “BOSTON RED SOX '10-28-07’” along with the proper Jostens markings.

Accompanied by the original, deluxe wooden presentation box (4" x 6-1/2" x 7-1/2", NM) with its "World Series 2007" recessed metal logo and "2007 World Champions" frosted-window lid.
