After being swept in the 1966 World Series, the Los Angeles Dodgers began re-tooling for their next dynasty. A rookie named Steve Garvey made his appearance that season and old-timers Don Drysdale and Jim Bunning tutored a new crop of arms. This Hillerich & Bradsby M117 model bat was used by the team’s leadoff man, Willie Crawford, and features most of the players who appeared on that transitional 1969 team. The bat is un-cracked and shows excellent use. It has been signed by 34 players, including Hall of Famers Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale, Don Sutton and Jim Bunning. Other Dodgers on the bat include Jim Gilliam, rookie Steve Garvey, Willie Davis and Maury Wills. The signatures are in dark felt-tipped marker and simply leap off the natural ash colored bat. This bat comes with full LOAs from PSA/DNA (AA07673 & 1B10319) for both game use and signatures.
