More than two decades into his career, Rickey Henderson’s name was still found in the top ten of league leaders. In 1999, Rickey signed with the Mets and promptly finish seventh in the NL with a .423 on base percentage – the ninth time he finished above the .400 mark. He finished the season with a .315 average and 37 steals as the Mets made it to the post season and he took home the NL’s Comeback Player of the Year Award. Rickey’s Louisville Slugger T141S model bat displays outstanding use and is un-cracked. Rickey’s number “24” is written on the knob end. The barrel has “RICKEY HENDERSON NEW YORK METS” in block letters. This bat comes with a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA (1B10333) who have graded this bat a perfect GU 10.
