Coming of his heroics of the 1997 World Series where he hit the walk-off single in the bottom of the 11th inning in Game 7 to lead the Florida Marlins to their first World Series championship, shortstop Edgar Renteria’s 1998 campaign saw him make his first all-star appearance.
This white with teal pinstripe button-down jersey was worn by Renteria during the 1998 season. “MARLINS” is sewn on across the chest in teal and black tackle twill with a paraph. His number “16” is sewn on in black and teal tackle twill on the left center of the jersey. The “Russell Athletic 46” tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail. The back of the jersey has “RENTERIA” sewn on in black and teal tackle twill on a white name plate with his number “16” sewn on below his name in black, white and teal tackle twill. The left sleeve has the Florida Marlins logo patch and the right sleeve has the Russell Athletic logo embroidered in teal and black. This jersey shows light game use and comes with a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
