Old Chicago Cardinals rusher Charley Trippi spent nine years in the NFL and signed this lot of 10 items including five mini helmets, four photos and a red and white unworn Reebok cleat with an equipment NFL logo. The mini helmets are all silver Riddell helmets with no team logo distinctions but two different insignias: three helmets read “Charley Trippi 1946 Maxwell Award” and the two others read “Charley Trippi 1943 Rose Bowl MVP.” The four photos are black and white glossy 8x10 prints of Trippi in various poses on the field including the Heisman pose. All are signed in blue marker with an insignia “HOF ‘68.” Another also includes the insignia “1947 NFL Champs.” The photos are unframed and incased in plastic sheeting for protection. The single cleat is a size 15 and is signed by Trippi in black marker on the toe with the insignia “HOF ’68.” The entire lot comes pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
