Hall of Famer Art Monk was the catalyst behind the great Washington Redskin teams of the 1980s and early 1990s, before finishing his career with stops with the New York Jets and Philadelphia Eagles. As part of three Super Bowl winning teams, Monk amassed 12,026 receiving yards (12,721 yards career total), 888 receptions (940 career receptions), for 65 touchdowns (68 career total). Monk holds the Redskins’ record for yards from scrimmage (13,053), rookie receptions (58), receiving yards (12,026), receptions (888) and consecutive games with at least one reception (164).

Offered is the white jersey worn by Monk during his last season in Washington. This size 44 mesh jersey was manufactured by Starter and features his “81” screen printed on the front, back and sleeves in maroon and yellow. The v-neck collar is a ribbed maroon color with the NFL shield logo patch at the base of the v-neck. “MONK” is screen printed in maroon on a matching white nameplate and the sleeves have a thick maroon screen-printed stripe capped off by a thin yellow stripe. The Starter manufacturer’s tag is sewn on the base of the lower front left tail with a “93” patch and two flaps “44” and “LONG” attached. The jersey shows moderate game use with some scuff marks on the numbers. This jersey comes with a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
