Offered in this lot are two Jackie Robinson themed items. The first item in this lot is a Time Magazine with a rendering of Robinson on the cover dated September 22, 1947. “TIME” is boldly across the top with “JACKIE ROBINSON He and the boss took a chance. (Sport)” printed below his picture. The corners of this magazine are folded and the edges are worn from age, but still intact. This magazine is in overall good condition. The second item in this lot is a 1 ¾ inch diameter pin with Robinson’s photo and a red circle outlining his photograph and written in white “ROOKIE OF THE YEAR 1947 JACKIE ROBINSON”. Both items are unique collectibles from one of America’s greatest sports pioneers.
