The history of baseball is littered with incredible moments, from Lou Gehrig to Cal Ripken, Jr., from “The Flip” to “The Catch”, from “Touch ‘Em all Joe” to “I Don’t Believe What I Just Saw,” with a plethora of Bucky F’n Dent mixed in for good measure. This lot of autographed baseballs celebrates three of the most iconic moments in Major League history.
First, an Official White National League ball commemorating 1951’s “Shot Heard ‘Round the World,” signed on the sweet spot by both Bobby Thomson and Ralph Branca. Second, an Official Selig Major League Baseball signed and inscribed by the only man to win a World Series with a Game 7 walk-off home run, “Bill Mazeroski HOF 01.” Finally, the most memorable error ever committed is remembered with an Official Selig Major League Baseball signed on the sweet spot by Bill Buckner and Mookie Wilson. The ball has been inscribed with “10/25/86” on the north panel. The Mazeroski single-signed ball comes tagged with MLB Authentication hologram #HZ338402, the Thomson/Branca dual-signed ball is tagged with JSA Sticker I59003, and the Buckner/Wilson dual-signed ball is accompanied by a COA from JSA (K82423).
