David Ortiz had a terrific 2013 season for the Boston Red Sox as he batted .309 with 30 home runs and drove 103 in leading Boston to its third World Series title in 10 seasons.

Offered is a game ball used during one of Ortiz’s big games. On June 4, 2014, the Red Sox defeated the Texas Rangers 17-5 at Fenway Park as “Big Papi” went 2-6 with a double, triple and three RBI. This Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseball shows heavy game use with dirt marks and abrasions. Ortiz signed has name in blue pen on the sweet spot and inscribed “34” below his name. He also inscribed on the side panel “6/4 VS Rangers 2-6 2B, 3B, 3 RBI SOX WIN 17-5”. The baseball comes with a display that features a picture of Ortiz in his home white Red sox uniform with his fists raised and the June 4, 2013 with his stats from that game. This baseball comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 625510) and a FANATICS Authentic hologram (0386573).
