Before becoming one of the most dominant defensive players in the NFL for the upstart Houston Texans, defensive end J.J. Watt spent the last two seasons of his collegiate career with the University of Wisconsin. Watt finished his Badger career with 104 tackles and 11.5 sacks, which earned him an All-Big Ten first team selection and was voted the team’s MVP. The Houston Texans selected Watt with the 11th overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft and has been a defensive standout for the Texans.
Offered is the white practice jersey worn by Watt during his time in Wisconsin. This size 2XL Adidas mesh jersey has Watt’s number “99” screen printed in red on the front and back. This jersey shows excellent use with numerous scuff marks and red paint marks on the shoulders and general wear associated with a practice jersey. The Adidas logo is screen printed on the mesh above Watt’s number on the front and the Adidas size tag is sewn on the bottom front left. Watt’s number “99” appears to be written in faded black marker and scribbled out on the inside back collar as well. This jersey comes with a full LOA from Mears.
