Mike Napoli joined the Boston Red Sox for the 2013 season and was a key player during the Red Sox run to the World Series title. Napoli batted .259 with 23 home runs and 92 RBI and hit a key home run during Game 5 of the ALCS against Justin Verlander and the Detroit Tigers. Offered is this Marucci Napoli Custom Cut model bat that was used by the slugging first baseman during the 2013 season. This 35-inch, maple bat is uncracked and shows outstanding game use. Napoli’s number “12” is stamped on the knob and the markings on this bat are consistent with Napoli’s player use characteristics. There is a healthy amount of Mota Stick on the handle with numerous ball marks and bat rack marks present. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B10310), who have graded this game used bat a perfect “GU 10”. There is also a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 989738) affixed to the barrel. Please note that the MLB Authenticated database has listed this bat as a TEAM ISSUE dated to March 3, 2014. This is a common designation for authenticated equipment left over from previous seasons.
