Even on a team that hit 220 homers during the 1997 season, Jim Thome stood out. The Tribe’s first baseman clobbered 40 of his teams total that year, and he and this bat helped Cleveland get to their first World Series since 1948.

Thome’s 1997-1999 Rawlings 491A model bat shows excellent use with a secured handle crack. Thome’s number “25” is hand written on the barrel and the Indians slugger has signed the barrel in silver pen adding “Best Wishes #25!”. A great bat from the man who brought sports credibility back to Cleveland. This bat comes with a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA (1B10317) who have graded this bat a GU 8.5 and a COA from PSA/DNA (AB98622) for his signature.
