On February 2, 1975, the New York Baseball Writers hosted their 52nd Annual Dinner at the Americana Hotel. The program for the event, featuring cover art by longtime New York Daily News cartoonist Bill Gallo, features 4 baseball bats topped by the faces of Stan Musial, Hank Aaron, Al Kaline and Willie Mays, at the time the 4 living members of the 3,000 Hit Club. This program to that event has been signed by Aaron in black marker, along with fellow Hall of Famers Frank Robinson, Jim “Catfish” Hunter and Lou Brock. All four signatures are certified by JSA COA #L30449.
