Offered is a rare full ticket from the 1930 season in which the New York Yankees finished with an 86-68 record. This particular ticket comes from a double-header played against the Cleveland Indians on June 28th that saw the Bronx Bombers live up to their name. The Yankees swept the double-header by beating the Tribe 13-1 in the first game and 14-2 in the second game. In the second game, Babe Ruth hit two home runs, a solo shot in the fourth inning and a solo home run in the seventh inning. This light green pass says “American League Baseball Club of New York” in bold black print and references “Game Number 40”. The ticket measures 2 ½ x 4 ¼ and has rounded corners on one end and sharp corners on the other, all in pristine condition. This exquisite ticket has been encapsulated by PSA/DNA (14060745) and been graded a “GEM MT 10”.
