Babe Ruth became the first ever player to hit his 700th home run when he connected of Detroit Tigers pitcher Tommy Bridges in the third inning of the July 13, 1934 game at Navin Field in Detroit where the Yankees won 4-2. Offered is a scored program from that July 13th game. The red and off-white cover features the likeness of Hank Greenberg in the center and the face value of this program is 10 cents. The 6 ¼ x 9 ½ inch program is a tri-fold that opens up to one sheet that measures 18 ½ x 9 ½ inches. The lineups for both the Yankees and Tigers are pre-printed and the scorer of this program marked his scoring in pencil. This program is in excellent condition with only minor edge wear.
