Offered is an original photograph of Babe Ruth on a follow through swing during Game 1 of the 1932 World Series between the New York Yankees and Chicago Cubs. This 8 ¼ x 10 inch black and white photograph has handwritten in pencil on the back “631474 Yankees-Cubs 1932 1st game World Series” and a “PLEASE CREDIT United Press International Photo” stamp. This World Series was best known for Ruth’s “Called Shot” in game three of the series and Yankees would ultimately sweep the Cubs in four games.
