Offered is a 3 ½ x 6 ½ inch white envelope signed by Joe DiMaggio in bold blue marker that has “BABE RUTH SULTAN OF SWAT” and a drawing of Ruth in his Yankees uniform with “FIRST DAY ISSUE” on the left side. A 20-cent “Babe Ruth” stamp is affixed to the upper right of the envelope with “FIRST DAY OF ISSUE” stamping below it. A postmark with “CHICAGO, IL JUL 6 1983 60607” is stamped on the right center of this envelope. This signed envelope has been encapsulated by PSA/DNA (83918979) and graded AUTHENTIC.
