Universally regarded as the greatest sprinter of all time, Usain Bolt once again turned in an epic performance at the 2016 Olympics in Rio. He won three gold medals, in the 100-meter, 200-meter and the 4 x 100-meter races, repeating a feat he's now accomplished in three consecutive Olympic appearances. (Dubbed "The World's Fastest Man," Bolt also owns the world-record times in each of the events.) As a young boy, Bolt's family home lacked running water; his legendary sprinting ability began to develop when his father ordered Usain to carry buckets of water several miles to their house! Offered here is a cache containing eighty-five uncirculated examples of the September, 2008 issue of "SI for Kids." This publication contains card #294 – Usain Bolt's rookie card! – in the periodical's multi-sport card production. The majority of the cards, all of which are still intact on their undisturbed, perforated insert sheets, are NM/MT to MINT (the balance are lesser due to small indentations brought about during packaging). As a point of reference on value, uncut sheets typically sell for $10-15 apiece, and top-grade singles featuring this international superstar are enjoying rising demand.
