     Hall of Famer Frank Robinson, the 1956 National League Rookie of the Year, is still the only player in baseball history to win an MVP Award in both the American and National Leagues. Robinson’s former years were spent with the Cincinnati Reds and Baltimore Orioles where he won two World Series titles with the O’s in 1966 and 1970.

     Offered is the alternate orange Baltimore Orioles jersey worn by the Hall of Famer during the 1980 season while serving as first base/hitting coach. This size 42 Wilson pullover jersey features “Orioles” sewn on across the chest in black and white tackle twill with his number “20” sewn on in the same color pattern below the team name. The back of the jersey has “ROBINSON” sewn on in black on a matching orange name plate and his number “20” below the name in black and white tackle twill. The sleeve ends have a ribbed black/white/orange pattern and the v-neck collar has a ribbed black/white/black pattern.The Wilson size 42 tag is sewn on the inside back neck and a 1 x 1 ½ inch orange team tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail that has “80 1” indicating the year and set of this jersey.

     Robinson signed his name in bold black marker just below and to the left of his number on the front of the jersey. This item comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AA07822) for his signature and a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
