With its 8.61 GPA, this assembly merits "#1 Current Finest" placement on the PSA Set Registry! The early days of the "Wild West" are the subject of this popular Bowman non-sports set. The prevailing theory is that Bowman borrowed the artwork for "Frontier Days" from the gum maker's original 1950 "Wild West" series as a cost cutting measure as the company struggled to survive. Since the organization's demise was still two years away, they may have assumed success was all but assured by presenting the colorful, finely detailed illustrations via this larger card size format.
