Hall of Famer Greg Maddux was traded by the Chicago Cubs to the Los Angeles Dodgers on the trade deadline in July of 2006. It was the first time in his career that he had been traded. Maddux made 12 starts for the Dodgers to close out the regular season and finished with a 6-3 record and 3.30 ERA as Los Angeles won the National League Wild Card spot.
This size 48 Majestic button-down road jersey was worn by Maddux after he joined the Dodgers in 2006. “Los Angeles” is sewn on across the chest in blue, gray and white tackle twill with a paraph. Maddux was issued number 36 and that is sewn on in red on the center left front. Blue piping surrounds the collar and runs down each side of the buttons. Blue piping runs one inch of the sleeve ends with the left sleeve having a “Dodgers” patch and Majestic logo embroidered in blue. “36” is sewn on the back of the jersey in blue, gray and white tackle twill and the MLB logo patch is sewn on above the piping on the back neck. The Majestic tag is along with the “2006” and “48” flags. This jersey shows moderate game use and Maddux has signed his name in black marker above the “Los” in Los Angeles on the front of the jersey. This comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AA07816) for his signature and a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
