Roger Clemens became the 21st player in history to reach the 300-win plateau as he and the New York Yankees bested the St. Louis Cardinals on June 13, 2003 at Yankee Stadium. To add to this historic day, Clemens fanned Edgar Renteria in the top of the 2nd inning to notch his 4,000th career strikeout, which at the time only had Steve Carlton (4,136) and Nolan Ryan (5,714) ahead of him.

Offered are two baseballs used during his bullpen warm-ups during that historic June 13th game. Each Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseballs show extensive game use and have been signed and inscribed by Clemens. Clemens signed his name on the sweet spots of both baseballs and inscribed “6/13/03” and “Win #300/4,000 K’s” and added “300” on “100th Anniversary 1903 – 2003” logo stamp on the side panels. Each baseball comes with its own LOA from PSA/DNA (AA07834 & AA07835) and a LOA from MC Sports authenticating their bullpen use.
