"They call him Tiny," said Red Auerbach, cigar in hand, at Archibald's 1991 Induction Ceremony. "Now what's tiny about a guy with that kind of a heart and that kind of ability? There's no doubt in my mind that Tiny Archibald would be a great star today. He epitomizes the point guard…He can go out there at you, shoot it, go by you, dish off. He can do everything possible with the ball...They copy him today—the Kevin Johnsons, the John Stocktons, the Mark Prices...[Archibald] was a pioneer."

But Auerbach didn't just talk about “Tiny's” on-court prowess. He also mentioned how the Bronx native gave back to his community, like stipulating in his Converse endorsement contract that he needed 100 pairs of sneakers, so that he could distribute them to underserved kids in his old neighborhood. Also that he pursued his master's and doctorate as a teacher in order to make a difference in children's lives in the classroom. Auerbach expressed the utmost respect for Archibald's character and many talents. And he's far from alone in considering “Tiny” a pillar of the NBA community—a giant among men.

Offered is Nate “Tiny” Archibald's 1991 Hall of Fame Induction Ring, which features attractive shank designs of an action vignette and the HOF crest logo, along with the nice touch of not just his surname, but his full name. The Balfour 10K-gold, size 11 ring is crowned with a CZ stone and rates NM. Archibald's 4/5/16 signed LOA reads, "This is the original ring that was awarded to me and no duplicates have been produced or authorized."
