This jersey is made of wool and exhibits outstanding game use with two team repairs and un-repaired holes on the right sleeve and the right shoulder having five team repairs. The left sleeve has one team repair with un-repaired holes and the left shoulder also has three team repairs. Diagonally down the front of the jersey is “RANGERS” that has been sewn on in red and white tackle twill. The front of jersey also has some team repairs with seven instances. The back of the jersey has Goyette’s number “20” sewn on in red and white tackle twill and there are seven repairs done along with un-repaired holes.

      Goyette’s number “20” is also sewn on each shoulder in red and white, while the sleeves and bottom of the jersey have a red/white/red striping pattern. Manufactured by Cosby, the jersey also has a three eyelet tie-down at the neck. As a common practice in that era, teams would often recycle their jerseys for use in practice in future seasons, and the wear on this jersey is consistent with that practice.
