Offered is a wall plaque of Mickey Mantle, featuring an incredibly detailed and textured bronze image of The Mick, complete with Yankee pinstripe jersey and cap. Sculpted by Armand LaMontagne, best known for his Ted Williams and Babe Ruth sculptures housed at the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY, the bronze likeness of Mantle has been mounted on a round wooden block, measuring 18” in diameter and painted solid black. LaMontagne has engraved his signature into the bronze of Mantle’s right shoulder, and written on the back of the piece is “Mickey Mantle by Armand LaMontagne, C.C. Bronze”. LaMontagne has topped it off with his circular brand just below center on the backside of the piece.
