This is the first championship ring we've ever seen from Michigan's mid-1960s glory years, when captain Ollie Darden and Cazzie Russell led the Wolverines to two Final Fours. Darden was drafted in 1966 by the NBA's Pistons but ultimately played for the ABA's Pacers, Nets and Colonels. His Balfour sterling-silver, size 12 ring features a gold "M" inlaid in a blue stone, bordered by "BIG TEN / CHAMPIONS / BASKETBALL / 64 65 66." Engraved inside the band is: "O Darden." EX/MT condition. Accompanied by what appears to be the original Balfour metal-trim box with a "STERLING" sticker inside. LOA from TJ's Memorabilia.
