Offered is an exquisite Ty Cobb signature (signed Tyrus R. Cobb) that appears on this 3 x 8 ¼ inch “FIRST NATIONAL BANK” check dated December 22, 1950. Written in light blue pen, this check is made out to “cash” for $100.00 and drawn from his own “TYRUS R. COBB account. This check has been matted and presented along with a 16 x 20 portrait of his 1909-1911 T206 red background tobacco card portrait. This tremendous frame piece measures to a dimension of 24 x 30 inches. Cobb’s signature comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA, who have graded his signature a “9”.
