Derek Jeter went 1-4 with a walk in the July 22, 2014, fourteen-inning 2-1 Yankees victory over the Texas Rangers at Yankee Stadium. His lone hit, a double in the 9th inning, broke the long standing Yankee's double record held by the legendary Lou Gerig. Jeter has signed this Schutt Original Hollywood Bases Jack Corbett base, which served as second base from the seventh to the fourteenth innings of that game, in bold black sharpie left of center of the dirt covered base. The four sides of the base feature Yankees inlaid plastic logos, and the underside of the bag is marked “7/22/14 2nd Base 7th-14th” in blue Sharpie. Tagged with Steiner hologram #212650 and MLB Authentication Hologram #HZ164750, which serves to authenticate both game use and signature.
