Graded 50 VG/EX 4 by SGC, one of just three examples confirmed at this level with only four copies graded higher. The #1 card of Otto Knabe, manager of the Baltimore Federal League team, is among the "key" entries in the popular 1915 Cracker Jack set. Only a handful of high-grade specimens are known to exist, and that meager supply falls considerably short of the hobby's demand.
The offered card is certainly a superior representative of its desirable type. The piece is a very clean, fresh example. Each of its four corners is well-formed with only the lightest wear at the extreme tip. The card's colors are bright and Knabe's image – situated slightly toward the top edge – is perfectly focused. A potential boon to a carefully assembled 1915 Cracker Jack set, in Very Good to Excellent condition.
