During his exile from boxing in the late 1960s, Muhammad Ali was still a polarizing figure. Offered here is the cover of “BOXING ILLUSTRATED” from their February 1968 issue that features Ali on the cover. This 8 ½ x 11 inch cover has printed across the top in black “EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: THE TWO FACES OF ALI!”. The “B” in Boxing Illustrated is black and outlined in red, with “OXING” in red and “ILLUSTRATED” in green. The picture on the cover is of Ali wearing black boxing head gear with an off-white backdrop. Ali signed his name in blue marker on his neck and this cover has been matted and framed to a dimension of 19 ¼ x 22 ¼ inches. The frame has minor scratches on the outside and this signed piece comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (S01642).
