Offered is a limited edition Ted Williams 1989 Sports Impressions figurine, fifth in the “500 Home Run Club” series. Measuring just over seven inches high, the porcelain figurine captures Williams in his follow-through swing, head back, and eyes following one of his 521 career home runs over the fence. Between Teddy Ballgame’s feet is set a porcelain baseball inscribed with “521,” with both ball and Williams atop a porcelain brown base, fronted by a facsimile of the Splendid Splinter’s unmistakable signature. The underside of the base contains the limited edition “869” in a Worldwide Edition of 5,521. Also included is a wooden base on which the entire porcelain piece stands, with a gold “500 Home Run Club” plaque fastened to the front. The bat Williams is holding sits loosely in his hands, but maintains its position post-swing. The figurine comes with Sports Impressions Limited Edition Certificate of Authenticity, and is packed in its original packaging and box.
