Offered is this Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseball that has been signed by 16 pitchers who threw a perfect game and one Hall of Famer who threw nine perfect innings – Pedro Martinez. Martinez, who threw nine perfect innings on June 3, 1995 against the San Diego Padres, while pitching for the Montreal Expos, but a rule change in 1991 only recognized no-hitters/perfect games that completed nine or more innings. The official rule reads "A no hitter is a game in which a pitcher or pitchers complete a game of nine innings or more without allowing a hit." Additionally, there is a baseball in Cooperstown from Martinez's game that is on display as part of the Perfecto Exhibit. Martinez signed his name and inscribed “6/3/95” on the side panel.

     There have been a total of 23 official perfect games tossed in Major League history. All of the signatures have been signed and inscribed in blue pen, with Don Larsen’s signature on the open sweet spot and inscribed “PG 10.8.56”. Felix Hernandez signed his name on the Commissioner’s stamped sweet spot and inscribed “PG 08-15-12”. One panel has the signatures of David Cone (inscribed “P.G. 7.18.99”), Dennis Martinez (inscribed “P.G. 7/28/91) and Mike Witt (inscribed “PG 9/30/84”). Another panel has the signatures of Len Barker (inscribed “P.G 5-18-81”), Tom Browning (inscribed “P.G. 9-16-88”), Roy Halladay (inscribed “P.G. 5-29-10”) and the aforementioned Pedro Martinez. The panel with the Rawlings stamp includes the signatures of Matt Cain (inscribed “6/13/2012”), Hall of Famer Sandy Koufax (inscribed “P.G. 8/9/65”), David Wells (inscribed “P.G. 5-17-98”) and Mark Buehrle (inscribed “PG 7-23-09”). The panel with the MLB logo stamp has the signatures of Dallas Braden (inscribed “pg 5-9-10”), Philip Humber (inscribed “PG 4-21-12”), Hall of Famer Jim Bunning (inscribed “6/21/64”) and Hall of Famer Randy Johnson (inscribed “5-18-04”).
