Offered here is an IBF heavyweight champion belt signed by Iron Mike Tyson. Over his career Tyson compiled a record of 50 wins and 6 losses, including 44 wins by knockout, along the way earning numerous heavyweight title belts from the WBC, WBA, and IBF. Tyson became the first heavyweight to unify the three belts after he defeated Tony Tucker in 1987 to win the IBF title. An extraordinarily powerful puncher, Tyson was one of the most intimidating figures in boxing during the 1980s and 1990s. Tyson is infamously known for his 1997 fight against Evander Holyfield, which he lost for biting off a portion of Holyfield’s ear.

This belt is made of red leather, with three circular crests on the front. The largest is gold inlaid with red gemstones and features an eagle protectively swooping over the top. There are two depictions of the earth inside, with gold text reading “World Champion” and “International Boxing Federation.” Smaller eagle adorned gold circles are on either side of the large one, alternately reading “Mike Tyson” and “Heavyweight Champion.” Tyson signed the back of the belt in silver Sharpie. This item comes with a PSA/DNA COA (6A99254).
