In 1997 Tony Gwynn led the National League in hits for the fourth time. During that summer he used this bat to swat number 2,727 of his eventual 3,141 career hits. The Louisville Slugger B267 model bat is un-cracked and shows light use. Gwynn’s number “19” is hand written on the knob, along with number “2727” to note his historical career hit. “Mr. Padre” has signed the barrel above the model number, topping off this Hall of Fame-worthy bat. This bat comes with a full LOA from Alicia Gwynn and a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B10912) who have graded this bat a perfect GU 10 and a LOA from PSA/DNA (AC04045) for the signature.
