National Baseball Hall of Fame member Barry Larkin wore this batting helmet during the 1985-86 seasons as part of his 19 year career as a Cincinnati Red. Larkin, a shortstop who could hit for power and average, won the 1995 NL MVP Award and made 12 All-Star teams. Larkin was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame on his third ballot in 2012.
This red batting helmet features the Cincinnati Reds’ famous wishbone “C” logo on the front. Larkin signed the brim of the helmet, adding the inscription “95 NL MVP” and “Gamer” in black Sharpie. This helmet comes with a PSA/DNA LOA (AB13361) and a full LOA from JT Sports.
