In his second season with the Chicago White Sox, Hall of Famer Tom Seaver pitched to a 16-11 record with a respectable 3.17 ERA. This size 7 5/8 New Era multi-colored Chicago White Sox was worn by Seaver during the 1985 season. The hat features “SOX” embroidered in navy blue on the white front crown and the inner sweat band is a brown plastic-type material. The brim is red and the back of the hat is navy blue and Seaver’s “41” is hand written in black marker on the gray underside of the brim. The hat shows light to moderate game use and the hat has been dated to 1985 based on the design of the intact tags. Seaver signed his name in black marker and inscribed “1985” on the red brim. This hat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AC04031) for the signature and a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema for the game use.
