Former Major Leaguer Al Leiter pitched no-hitter against the Colorado Rockies on May 11, 1996 at Joe Robbie Stadium in Miami. Leiter’s no-hitter was the first in Marlins’ franchise history as the lefty walked only two batters and struck out six during the historic performance. This Official National League Leonard S. Coleman baseball was used during the May 11th no-hitter game. This ball displays outstanding use and has been rubbed down. Leiter signed his name in bold blue pen across the sweet spot and inscribed “game ball 5-11-96” below his signature. Leiter also inscribed “NO Hiter – 5/11/96” on the CUSHIONED CORK CENTER stamped side panel. This baseball comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (Q09212).
