Offered here is a New York Yankees ticket signed by Derek Jeter. This ticket is for a game played between the Yankees and the Tampa Bay Rays on July 9th, 2011. Jeter joined the 3,000 hit club and became only the second player in history to record his 3,000th hit with a home run as the Yankees won this game 5-4, with David Robertson blowing a save but winning the game. Mariano Rivera pitched a perfect ninth to record his 22nd save of the season. AJ Burnett started the game for the Yankees, while David Price started and did not get a decision for the Rays.

Derek Jeter went a perfect 5-for-5 this game as he became the 28th player to record 3,000 hits in a career as he finished the milestone day with a home run, double, stolen base and two RBI. AJ Burnett pitched a fine game, giving up three runs in 5.2 innings but striking out nine. Jeter signed this ticket, which is for section 123, row 30 seat 10, in blue Sharpie above the Yankees logo.
